Many thanks to Choice Provisions, formerly known as Gaijin Games, for the totally radical CommanderVideo Maquette!

I had visited their booth down at PAX to check out “Woah Dave!” (which is a fun arcade game with a lovely looking cabinet too), when afterwards my eyes caught a glance of our cylindrical hero, CommanderVideo, proudly displayed in boxes on the floor! As a big fan of the Runner entries, especially the 2nd one, I immediately inquired about it, since I didn’t see it listed with the merch that they had for sale on the show floor.

To my surprise, they gave it to me for free! I was totally like, “No way! Really?!” Needless to say, I thanked them for their kindness and babbled about the things I loved about the second game, such as the dancing feature!

I’m going to put him by my computer, to serve as inspiration for my own projects and artistic endeavors!

So I got around to playing P.T., that interactive teaser for the upcoming “Silent Hills” project, and I gotta say I am very excited for what’s in store for the series.

The whole atmosphere of the experience was awesome, from the visuals to the general creepiness of events that the player witnesses. There were moments when I truly was caught off guard as well. That goddamn open doorway by the stairs, I swear.

What’s neat is that there appears to be a random element to the demo as well.

While this teaser could certainly not represent the actual game play of the final product, what it does do is capture a sense of dread and mental confusion, and that’s what Silent Hill is all about.

"Don’t touch that dial now, we’re just getting started!"

Quite a while ago, Edmund McMillen asked readers of his blog to take a survey which would help determine the art direction of Rebirth, along with some other statistical data. I remember filling in one of the info fields with something along the lines of, “It would be rad if Isaac could ride the Duke of Flies.”
Fingers crossed!

I'll take a wild guess and assume you play New Leaf. If you do, do you mind posting a Dream Adress? BTW, I love your art.

I would share such a thing if I actually remembered what the digits were!

My 3DS has recently started to randomly get system errors when I play games, so it needs to be sent to Nintendo for repairs. When I manage to get it back from it’s misbehaving, I’ll boot up the game and make mention of the address!

The game “Super House of Dead Ninjas” is Super Swell!

What's your opinion on Doom 3 BFG edition?

On one hand, it feels like a good way for newcomers of the series to have a collection of the franchise to experience in one tidy package. However, I already own the original titles, both in physical media form and of the digital variety. I’m sure there are a bunch of other fans that have as well!

I didn’t find the enhancements too compelling at the time (including the Lost Mission for Doom 3), nor anything I could really benefit from such as support for 3D monitors. To my understanding, the BFG edition didn’t come with mod support as well. Perhaps this has changed since I last heard about it, but I find that a shame. How else could I goof about in Doom 3 with a buddy without modding!

That being said, I probably would recommend getting Doom Classic Complete (Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, Final Doom, Master Levels for Doom 2) and Doom 3 bundled with RoE, rather than the BFG Edition to someone.
